Natalie Maurice, a high performance marketing executive with international experience, has joined 7 Communications as the young company expands its automotive and leisure industry capability ahead of its first anniversary. Maurice, 36, will shoulder some of the growing portfolio of automotive clients and turn her attention to programs that deliver measurable results at retail. She will also lead the 7 Communications’ expansion into recreational products. With a stellar résumé in corporate, brand and retail automotive marketing gained from Canadian and international agencies, Maurice will help solidify 7 Communications’ reputation for fast-and-facile response to a changing retail automotive landscape while adding strategic and tactical resources for retailers and their manufacturers.
The expansion into the fast-paced recreational products market gives 7 Communications a third pillar in its business development strategy. The company will add recreational products to its special expertise in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry and the auto industry. The addition of Maurice punctuates a hectic first year of business for 7 Communications that includes non-stop work for some of Canada’s top pharmaceutical companies, a suite of premium automobile retailers and related clients.
“Obviously we’re delighted to have Natalie join us,” says 7 Communications principal Larry Futers. “We’ve worked with Natalie in the past and are in awe of her ability to manage a whirlwind of activity while always keeping the client’s objectives in focus. And her experience in recreational products will be the foundation for our second-year growth plans. Yes, we’re excited.” Maurice comes to 7 Communications from Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. of Valcourt, Quebec. In addition to her Canadian corporate and agency work, she was an account leader at Scan Partner (Grey Global) in Goteborg, Sweden.
